Change Management

This example showcases a request from a client to create an end to end solution for their needs to manage their Change Request Forum.

The client is in charge of the forum for their organization and they need to coordinate multiple teams with different requests and processes; they would like to track the changes requested, enable approvals, send reminders to those who need to approve, track the changes and the different meetings that are necessary to move them forward.

The whole process is currently highly manual and they only have a simple Sharepoint List with all the changes.

They would like to keep leveraging Sharepoint, but to modernize the experience and to be able to automate the repetitive admin tasks.

As is State 

  • Currently the process is fully manual, it takes teh whole team at least 30mins a week per person, plus 2 hours to the PMO. That is more than 800 hours a year

  • All they have is a Sharepoint List with all the requests for change.  

  • Delays in approvals are common.

  • Managing the forum is more about admin tasks than aligning teams.
